WYSO Community Voices
In the spring of 2011 WYSO Public Radio launched a training program to teach listeners how to produce radio stories. WYSO helps local people record essays, poems and commentaries. They work with public school teachers who want to bring radio into their classrooms, and they collect oral histories. Projects include Dayton Youth Radio, Veterans Voices, and Women’s Voices from Dayton Correctional Institution. Community Voices is all about getting local voices on the air.

ZOOT is a forward-thinking theatrical design company specializing in puppets and masks. Since its founding in 2006, Zoot has prided itself on its ability to blend the visual and performing arts, using the stage as its gallery. ZTC enjoys a number of partnerships with high schools, colleges, and cultural arts organizations such as The Muse Machine, Central State University, the University of Dayton, The Dayton Art Institute, The Human Race Theatre Company and many other schools and organizations throughout the region.
